Concrete Scanning Before Core Drilling and Saw Cutting
Every core is a guess until the slab is scanned. We locate rebar, post-tension cables, conduit and voids at each planned hole, mark them on the concrete, and clear a safe spot so your crew drills once.

What a clearance includes
- ▪Each core or cut location scanned and marked
- ▪Rebar, PT tendons, conduit and anomalies marked in standard colors
- ▪A clear spot, or an adjusted spot, for every hole
- ▪Slab thickness when you need it for bit length
- ▪A PDF report with photos within 24 hours
Why it's worth it
Coring through a live conduit risks an arc-flash injury and a dead circuit. Cutting a PT tendon means an engineered repair. Hitting rebar slows the crew, dulls bits, and can weaken the slab. A scan usually costs less than one of those mistakes, and it keeps your schedule.

Questions
How long does it take?+
Most small core jobs take an hour or two on site.
Can you scan walls and ceilings?+
Yes. We have a tight-access antenna for walls, columns and overhead work.
Do I need to be there?+
It helps to have someone show the locations, but a marked-up plan or photos work too.
