We run the GSSI FLEX NX — the newest concrete-inspection radar from the industry's leading manufacturer — plus the NX25 tight-access antenna for walls, ceilings, and confined spaces, and the NX15 deep-target antenna for thick slabs and below-grade utilities. Its dual antennas collect standard and cross-polarized data in a single pass, which is exactly what separates a post-tension cable from rebar and finds the PVC conduit hiding under a mat of steel.

How fast can you get to our site?+
Usually within the week, often next-day. Emergency and after-hours scans are available — call and we'll tell you honestly what we can do.
What does concrete scanning cost?+
It depends on how many cut or core locations you have, how much area we're covering, and how easy it is to get to. Call with your scope and you'll get a firm number on the phone — not a range, and not a callback two days later. Rates are the same whether the job is in Sandy or Heber, and the written report is included either way.
Is GPR the same as concrete X-ray?+
GPR does what most people mean by "X-ray" — but it's faster, needs access to only one side of the slab, and has no radiation, so your crews keep working nearby. True radiography is rarely needed on modern jobs.
Doesn't 811 / Blue Stakes already locate utilities?+
Blue Stakes only marks public utilities up to your meter. Everything past it — site power, irrigation, comms between buildings — is private and unmarked. We're adding private utility locating mid-to-late October 2026. Planning a dig around then? Call and we'll put you on the schedule.
How deep can you see?+
The FLEX NX and NX25 image up to 30 inches into concrete — where rebar, tendons, and conduit live — and the NX15 deep-target antenna reaches up to 60 inches in ideal conditions for thick slabs and below-grade utilities. Actual depth depends on concrete condition and moisture, and we'll tell you honestly what we can and can't see on your slab.
